Getting started

Signup, verification, onboarding, the Console and your first release.

How do I create a DistriBeats account?

Click Sign up, enter your email, artist name, phone number and country, then verify your email from the link we send.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Signing up is free; you only pay when you choose a plan or submit a PayOnce release.

What details do I need at signup?

Your email, artist or label name, phone number with country code, and your country.

Why do you ask for my country?

Country decides your billing currency, tax handling and store availability, so it's required to create an account.

Why do you ask for a phone number?

It's used for account recovery and urgent release or payment issues — we never sell it.

I didn't get my verification email.

Check spam and promotions, then use Resend on the verification screen. Adding artists@distribeats.com to your contacts helps future mail land in the inbox.

How long is the verification link valid?

Verification links expire after a short window. If yours is dead, request a new one with Resend.

Can I sign in without a password?

Yes — choose the magic link option and we email you a one-click sign-in link.

Does DistriBeats support Google sign-in?

Sign in with your email address and password or a magic link; the sign-in screen shows every method your account supports.

Can I change my email address?

Contact support with the old and new address — email changes are done manually for security.

Can I change my artist name after signup?

Your artist name is locked because it maps to your store profiles. Support can change it manually when justified.

What is the onboarding form for?

It collects the artist profile details stores need: legal name, artist name, country, bio and social/streaming links.

Plans & pricing

PayOnce, Annual Subscription, Free Collab, upgrades, add-ons and coupons.

What plan families does DistriBeats offer?

Three: DistriBeats PayOnce (one-time per release), DistriBeats Annual Subscription (Pro, AI Pro, Label, Macro Label) and DistriBeats Free (the manually approved Collab Plan).

What is DistriBeats PayOnce?

PayOnce is our one-time distribution plan — you pay per release instead of a yearly fee, keep 90% of royalties and your music stays live for life.

How much does a PayOnce single cost?

A human-made single is ₹200 one time. AI-made singles are ₹400.

How much does a PayOnce EP cost?

EPs are ₹180 per track for human-made music and ₹360 per track for AI-made music.

How much does a PayOnce album cost?

Albums are ₹150 per track for human-made music and ₹300 per track for AI-made music.

Is PayOnce really a one-time payment?

Yes. You pay once per release at submission and there is no renewal, no yearly fee and no takedown fee on that release.

What royalty share does PayOnce pay?

PayOnce pays 90% of net store revenue to you.

Does PayOnce include lifetime release protection?

Yes — a PayOnce release stays live on stores for life; we never pull it for non-renewal.

How many artists can I add on PayOnce?

A single PayOnce account can hold a roster of up to 10 artists.

Does PayOnce need approval?

PayOnce releases receive AI priority approval in about 2 minutes when automated checks pass. If routed to a person, manual approval takes up to 24 hours.

What is DistriBeats Pro?

Pro is the ₹999/year Annual Subscription for human-made music with unlimited* releases, 100% royalties and ~2-minute AI approval.

What is AI Pro?

AI Pro is the ₹3,499/year Annual Subscription for artists releasing AI-assisted or AI-made music, with 100% royalties and the same delivery speed.

Releases, files & delivery

File specs, metadata, copyright screening, QC, takedowns and delivery times.

What audio formats do you accept?

WAV, FLAC or MP3. WAV 16/24-bit at 44.1 kHz or higher is strongly preferred for store quality.

What is the minimum track length?

30 seconds. Anything shorter is rejected before screening.

What is the maximum track length?

15 minutes per track. Longer works need to be split or cleared with support.

What sample rate should I upload?

44.1 kHz or higher. Don't upsample a lower-quality file — stores detect it.

What bit depth should I use?

16-bit or 24-bit. 24-bit masters give the best conversion quality at stores.

Can I upload an MP3 master?

Yes, but quality suffers. Use WAV or FLAC whenever you have it.

What is the maximum audio file size?

Paid plans upload up to 1 GB per file; free accounts are capped at 250 MB.

What is the maximum video file size?

Up to 2 GB per video on paid plans, as part of the music video add-on.

What artwork size do you need?

Square JPG or PNG between 1500×1500 and 5000×5000 px. 3000×3000 is the safest choice.

Can artwork be rectangular?

No. Stores reject anything that isn't a perfect square.

What colour profile should artwork use?

RGB. CMYK artwork is rejected by stores.

Can my artwork include store logos?

No. Spotify, Apple or any store logo on artwork is an automatic rejection.

Royalties & payouts

Reporting cycles, balances, withdrawals, taxes, splits and referral earnings.

How do royalties work at DistriBeats?

Stores report your revenue to us, we process the report into your Console balance, and you withdraw once you pass the payout threshold.

What royalty share do I keep?

100% on Pro, AI Pro, Label and Macro Label; 90% on PayOnce; 60% on the free Collab Plan.

When do royalties appear in my Console?

Store reports arrive roughly 45–60 days after the sales month, and your balance updates as each report is processed.

Why is my balance still zero after release?

Nothing is reported for the first month or two — that's normal, not an error.

How often do reports come in?

Monthly, per store, on each store's own reporting cycle.

What is net revenue?

What the store actually pays out after its own share, which is the base your royalty share is applied to.

Where do I see royalty reports?

Console → Royalties shows your balance, lifetime earnings and per-store breakdown as reports are processed.

Can I download my royalty statement?

Yes, statements are exportable from the Royalties tab.

What is the withdrawal threshold?

Withdrawals unlock at $50 of available balance.

Why is there a threshold?

Payment rails charge per transfer; batching at $50 keeps more money with the artist.

How do I withdraw?

Console → Royalties → request withdrawal, enter the amount and confirm your payout details.

Which payout methods do you support?

Bank transfer, UPI and PayPal.

Payments, invoices & billing

Checkout, UPI, auto-billing, invoices, refunds and payment troubleshooting.

Which payment methods do you accept?

UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets through secure checkout, plus manual UPI transfer with a UTR reference.

Is checkout secure?

Yes — payments are processed by our payment gateway and card details never touch DistriBeats servers.

Can I pay with UPI?

Yes, UPI apps like GPay, PhonePe and Paytm are supported at checkout.

Can I pay with an international card?

Yes. International cards are accepted in 130+ countries and all customers outside India are charged in USD.

Can I pay with PayPal?

PayPal is used for payouts; for purchases please use the checkout methods shown at payment.

How do I pay by manual UPI?

Send the amount to the UPI details shown at checkout and submit the UTR reference so we can verify it.

How long does manual UPI verification take?

Usually about an hour; the Console activates as soon as it's verified.

I paid but my Console is still locked.

Check Console → Billing for the payment status; if it's been over an hour, raise a docket with the payment ID or UTR.

My payment failed but money was debited.

Failed payments auto-reverse within 5–7 business days. If it doesn't, send us the bank reference in a docket.

My payment is stuck on verifying.

The verifying page waits for the gateway confirmation. Leave it open a minute; if it doesn't clear, check Billing and then raise a docket.

Checkout hangs and never opens the payment page.

Disable pop-up blockers and ad blockers, then retry. If it persists, try a different browser and raise a docket.

Checkout says billing details are required.

Enter your legal name, address and phone in Billing — invoices legally need them before payment.

Console & account troubleshooting

Sign-in problems, uploads, errors, security, dockets and account fixes.

I can't sign in.

Use the magic-link option, check the email is the one you registered, and reset your password if needed. If it still fails, raise a docket with your registered email.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen; a reset link arrives within a minute.

The password reset email never arrived.

Check spam and promotions, wait two minutes and request again. Whitelist artists@distribeats.com.

My magic link says expired.

Links are short-lived for security — request a new one and open it on the same device.

My magic link opens but doesn't sign me in.

Open the link in the same browser you requested it from, and don't use an in-app browser like the Instagram one.

I'm stuck on the email verification screen.

Press Resend, verify from the link, then return to the tab — it detects verification automatically within a few seconds.

I verified my email but the Console didn't open.

Refresh the page once; if it still holds, sign out and back in.

The Console keeps redirecting me to the plan page.

That means no active plan is detected. Check Billing; if you've paid, refresh or raise a docket.

The Console redirects me to sign-in repeatedly.

Clear cookies for distribeats.com, disable strict tracking protection for the site, and sign in again.

I'm asked to sign the agreement again.

A new agreement version was published; re-signing takes a few seconds and keeps your account compliant.

The Console is stuck on the loading screen.

Hard refresh with Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R. If the preloader persists, check status.distribeats.com and then raise a docket.

I see a blank white screen.

Usually a stale cached build — hard refresh, and clear site data if it repeats.

Distribution agreement & policies

Rights, term, warranties, takedowns, liability and the linked policies.

What is the distribution agreement?

The contract between you and Klaslead Productions Pvt. Ltd. that lets DistriBeats deliver and monetise your releases. You e-sign it before the Console unlocks.

Where can I read the agreement?

At /distribution-agreement, and inside the signing dialog in your Console.

Do I have to sign it?

Yes, distribution can't begin without a signed agreement.

How is my signature captured?

You draw it with a finger or mouse; we store the signature image with the date, agreement version and your IP address.

Why do you record my IP address?

It evidences who signed and when, which stores and courts may require in a dispute.

Can I get a copy of my signed agreement?

Yes, download the signed PDF from Console → Account at any time.

What is the agreement term?

36 months, continuing unless terminated as the agreement describes.

What happens at the end of the term?

It continues on the same basis unless you terminate or request takedowns, so your releases stay live.

Can I terminate the agreement early?

Yes, by requesting takedowns of your releases and notifying us as the agreement sets out; takedown fees may apply.

Does non-renewal of my plan end the agreement?

The agreement describes termination on non-renewal, but your live releases are not pulled automatically.

Is the licence exclusive?

No. You grant a non-exclusive licence to distribute and monetise the release while it is live.

Who owns my masters?

You do. Ownership of your masters and compositions never transfers to DistriBeats.

What is Artist EPK?

A customisable electronic press kit page — bio, photos, music, videos, stats and contacts — hosted on your own /epk slug.
